BB BAKERIES - TASTE OF HOME

The BB Bakeries commercial is a heartfelt story set in the city of Durban. Shot entirely on location, the film celebrates the warmth, personality and everyday beauty of the place and its people. We had the privilege of working with some of South Africa’s most respected acting talent, who brought real depth and authenticity to the piece.

This project meant a lot to me on a personal level. My dad is from Durban, and telling a story rooted in that city felt like a full-circle moment. I’ve always been drawn to work that stirs emotion, and this campaign gave us the chance to connect with audiences through something honest and nostalgic.

More than anything, this film feels like a love letter to Durban. It’s a celebration of local culture, food and family, told through the lens of a brand that’s been part of South African life for generations.
